Chasing the Eagle has become one of my favorite maritime pieces that I’ve painted over the years.  Two of the most striking schooners that sail the Maine waters are depicted on a cool, crisp “Maine day” racing neck and neck to the finish line.  The painting is highly finished (super smooth glazed surface) with an attention to detail that exhausts me when looking back!  ☺
